QUESTION: Will there be lane closures on the main lanes during this construction?
- 04/20/06: There will always be 3 main lanes operating
although they will be diverted and rerouted as construction
moves through the area
QUESTION: When is the start date for this part of the project?
- 02/16/06: January 2008; trees to be removed in 2007
- 04/20/06: Bids for construction will "let" January
2007
- 04/20/06: 6/8/06: The start of the construction
is set for September 2007 and the "let" date is January

- 04/20/06: It will finish when the first section
(outside 610) is finished and that is scheduled for
December of 2008

- 02/16/06: It's not final until RFP's are issued;
until then, there still is an opportunity to make
changes

- 06/8/06: The plans for the elevated lanes over the
railroad track are on hold; they're only working on
TC Jester eastward
QUESTION: What is the purpose of the continuous feeder lanes?
- 02/16/06: Address flooding; FHA standard; avoid feeder/main lane adjacency in current configuration between Washington + TC Jester stating that there is presently a dangerous merging condition
- 04/12/06: same as above but primarily flooding
- 04/20/06: To address the flooding
QUESTION: What is the intended impact of the White
Oak Flood Mitigation Ponds?
- 06/8/06: The purpose is to mitigate all flooding
on IH10 between Washington/Westcott and White Oak
and includes the mitigation of flooding after the
construction of the elevated feeder lanes between
Washington and TC Jester
